I am a Vancouver-based writer, editor and content strategist with eight years of experience writing and editing content for print, digital, and social media. Most recently, I interned at Vancouver Magazine and Western Living as an editorial intern, where I wrote online articles, and fact-checked and managed their social media. My other experiences include having worked as a communications coordinator for Douglas College, where I coordinated internal and external communication efforts for the Marketing and Communications Office at Douglas. I have also worked as a copywriting specialist and an SEO campaign manager for Yellow Pages Canada, an editorial assistant for B&C List, a public relations assistant for BlingPR, a newsroom intern for CTV News Vancouver and a reporter and editor for the Voice at Langara College.

I hold a journalism diploma from Langara College, a digital marketing certificate from RED Academy, a Japanese language high school diploma from Sendai Ikuei Gakuen High School (2006), and I am currently pursuing my degree in a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University. When not writing, I can be found creating whimsical and spooky art illustrations, drinking tea, or listening to true crime podcasts.
